“It takes a village to raise a child” is an old African proverb we use a lot these days, but do we embrace the saying? At LVA we aim to live this saying out authentically, therefore we have created multiple spaces for parents, carers, and anyone who plays a role in young people’s lives to come together and get engaged, equipped and empowered to raise a generation of emotionally, mentally and relationally well adults.

  • The Village Program

A safe, facilitated 6 week crash course for parents, carers and anyone who is supporting a young person to talk about all things related to RSHE (relationship, sex and health education) using LVA's six core themes.

  • 1:1 Support

A confidential and supportive space with one of LVA’s RSHE experts empowering parents and carers with specific challenges around our 6 core themes. These 1:1 sessions are held over zoom (this is not a counselling service)

  • Parent & Carer Talks

We deliver in person parent talks on our 6 core themes. These are delivered in the community and can either be booked via your community group/PTA or you can find out when our next talk is through our events page.
