That’s right LVA’s annual event is back. We had a blast last year and we are so excited to build on what’s been started.
What to expect: stage performances curated by Groove Academy, a marketplace full of wonderful creations all made and sold for and by young people. Free kid’s activities. Our famous BBQ and so much more.

At this event, not only will you be given the knowledge you need to protect your young person, you will have an opportunity to apply that knowledge and actively engage in empowering conversations in a safe space.

LVA are a local charity that deliver relationship and sex education, as well as offering 1:2:1 support around emotional wellbeing in our local schools and youth settings.
Crosslight advice provide face-to-face debt advice together with money education and budgeting support. To individuals and families in need.

Prayer Breakfast

Come along to LVA's prayer breakfast where we will be hearing from Kayleigh and the Team about their work with young people in schools and youth settings in the borough. Also, how you can support and uphold them, their work and young people in prayer. As well as prayer we'll be starting off with some bacon butties, croissants and other breakfast goodies so please do sign up and tell us your dietary requirements if you have any.

Therapeutic Mentoring Info Evening.
Our therapeutic mentoring program (or TMP) is a 20 week program where volunteer mentors will have the opportunity to work through our loved, valued, able mentoring journey in our local schools with students aged 11-16. This is a placement style program best suited to those on courses where this experience is beneficial to their career pathways. However it’s not exclusive to a particular group. The most important qualities are time commitment and a genuine empathy for supporting young people through challenging times in their life.

To donate good quality clothing/accessories/jewellery for women & men for the event please drop to Mandy at CCF on Tues 8th /Weds 9th /Thurs 10th or Tues 15th / Weds 16th /Thurs 17th March or alternatively on Saturday 19th before the event.
